Saturday 20th June and Sunday 21st June
We are planning to meet up at 10 am on Saturday at Junction 1 off the M42 and travel together to tour the Quantum factory sites in Stourbridge, Kidderminster and Lye. We hope to spend some time with the Wooldridge brothers at their current site in Kidderminster.
Saturday evening we plan to have a dinner together to celebrate the anniversary with an overnight stay at a hotel near to the Black Country Living Museum.
Sunday we go to the museum, arriving around 9am, park up inside the museum to become part of the exhibition. There is a cavalcade of vehicles which drives around the museum sometime between 1 and 3 pm, so they ask that you do not leave before 4pm but will not stop you leaving if you need to.
Entry has normally been free to owners plus one passenger and you get to enjoy the museum for the day.
I have looked for hotels not too far from the museum and, I can book rooms now for around £45 per double room. If you want to join in, please can you contact me to arrange payment so I can book us as a group. As of February 2020 it is possible to get rooms at £39, but these must be booked and payed for now. These would be non refundable bookings at this price. This price will lkely go up soon.
